about lush potential

Mental health practice dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, confidence, and support.

Helping people trust themselves again.

Healing begins when you feel safe enough to be honest.

At Lush Potential (formerly known as Beyond Dynamic Potential), we believe therapy is more than working through life’s challenges. It’s about creating a space where you can reconnect with yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move forward with greater confidence.

Our team is here to walk beside you through every season of life with compassion, clinical expertise, and genuine care.

More Than a Therapy Practice

Life has a way of making us question ourselves.

Stress, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, grief, and major life transitions can leave us feeling disconnected from the person we know we’re capable of being.

Lush Potential was founded on the belief that everyone deserves a place where they can slow down, be honest about what they’re carrying, and receive support without fear of judgment.

We don’t believe therapy is about fixing people.

We believe it’s about helping people rediscover their strengths, reconnect with their values, and trust themselves enough to move forward with confidence.

MEET THE TEAM

Healing happens through relationships, and every member of our team is committed to creating a space where clients feel genuinely supported.

While each clinician brings their own experience, specialties, and perspective, we all share one goal: helping people move through life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.

Stephanie Brown-Gilbert

Founder & Lead Therapist

Stephanie Brown-Gilbert, AM, LCSW-C, LICSW, LCSW, is the founder of Lush Potential and a licensed clinical social worker serving clients in Maryland, Illinois, and the District of Columbia. With more than a decade of experience providing psychotherapy, she helps individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns with compassion, honesty, and evidence-based care.

Her career has included serving children, families, and Veterans in a variety of clinical settings, experiences that deepened her belief in the power of resilience and the importance of creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported.

In 2021, Stephanie founded Lush Potential, formerly Beyond Dynamic Potential, to provide culturally responsive, recovery-focused mental health care that empowers individuals to trust themselves, embrace their potential, and create meaningful change. She believes therapy is most effective when it combines warmth with accountability, helping clients build resilience, restore balance, and move forward with confidence.

As a board-approved clinical supervisor in Maryland, Stephanie is also passionate about mentoring emerging social workers and supporting the next generation of compassionate mental health professionals.
